The Universal Audio Volt 4 Gen 2 is a next-generation 12-in / 6-out USB audio interface designed for musicians, producers, songwriters, and content creators who need professional studio sound with expanded connectivity. Featuring 32-bit / 192 kHz conversion, dual Tone Shaping Preamps, ADAT and S/PDIF expansion, MIDI I/O, a full-colour Smart Display, Auto-Gain, Clip Protection, and a comprehensive software bundle, Volt 4 Gen 2 provides a powerful recording centre for both mobile and desktop studios.
Built by the same Universal Audio team behind the legendary Apollo interfaces, Volt 4 Gen 2 features two digitally controlled mic preamps with 60 dB of available gain and three selectable character modes — Warmth, Focus, and Shine. These provide Tube, Solid State, and British Class-A-inspired tonal options, allowing you to add character to vocals and instruments directly at the source.
Two studio-grade mic / line inputs and two front-panel Hi-Z instrument inputs make it easy to record vocals, guitars, basses, and stereo sources. Additional line I/O provides connectivity for outboard equipment, while independent 48V phantom power on each microphone channel supports professional condenser microphones.
For larger recording setups, Volt 4 Gen 2 features ADAT or S/PDIF optical input, allowing up to eight additional digital input channels at 44.1 or 48 kHz. MIDI In and Out provides convenient integration with keyboards, drum machines, synthesisers, and controllers, while an onboard USB hub can connect compatible peripherals and power external MIDI devices.
The full-colour Smart Display provides clear visual feedback for inputs, levels, and settings. Auto-Gain automatically sets suitable recording levels in seconds, while Clip Protection catches unexpected peaks so you can concentrate on the performance instead of constantly watching meters.
Built-in Loopback makes Volt 4 Gen 2 suitable for podcasting, livestreaming, video calls, and content creation by allowing live sources to be combined with computer audio. Full integration with the UAD Console app and LUNA also provides session recall and low-latency cue mixes for a streamlined recording workflow.
Volt 4 Gen 2 is USB bus powered and class compliant for straightforward use with compatible Mac, Windows, iPad, and iPhone devices. It also includes the UAD Volt Studio Bundle and a collection of third-party software, giving you professional EQs, compressors, reverbs, guitar and bass amps, instruments, and production tools right out of the box.

All orders over $200 will be automatically eligible for FREE Shipping Australia Wide, if you order is under $200 there will be a flat rate of $12.

Online orders are normally processed within 1-3 business days. Once processed, your order should take between 1-8 business days to arrive depending on your location. Please note that your order may take up to 10 business days to arrive from the day you place your order.
If it transpires that the product is out of stock due to a stock discrepancy and/or there will be a delay in shipment, we will contact you within 2 business days of placing your order and give you the option of waiting or cancelling your order. The products we advertise online should show if they are in stock or not. We do our best to keep the website stock count up to date, but there may be an occasional error.

Deliver is made during the hours from 8:00am till 5:30pm Monday to Friday. As such, please ensure you nominate an address which is capable of receiving goods during 8am and 5.30pm. Given the restrictions on PO Box deliveries we cannot deliver larger sized items to a PO Box.
If for any reason our selected carriers don't service your area we will contact you before processing your order if this applys to you.
Returns Policy
If you wish to return an item which is not damaged or faulty in any way and you have simply changed your mind or made the wrong decision, you must let us know within 7 days of receiving the item. We will not agree to refund an item because you simply changed your mind or made the wrong decision if we have not been advised of your intention within 7 days of receiving your item. Once we have provided a return authority, it is the buyer’s responsibility to return the item, at their own costs within 30 days from original purchase. If the item is returned with any damage or alteration to its original packaging, we will refund the item subject to applying a minimum 15% restocking fee. We will not refund the costs of the initial shipping charges.
