Turn the clock back to a time when audio effects were still uncharted territory, and experience the vintage syrupy warble of a true oil can echo. From dark and modulated repeats to sustaining textures that approach the sound of classic spring reverb tanks, Olivera is the first pedal emulation that truly captures the mechanical yet wildly organic nature of these oddball machines, bringing funky inspiration to anything you run through it.
Different By Design
The first oil can echoes were made by the Tel-Rey company in 1959, achieving the repeats using a small rotating can filled with conductive oil as the dielectric material instead of tape. This novel approach yields very different sounds than what you would hear from a tape machine, transporting the listener to a darker and murkier place that oozes vibe. Olivera captures the true soul of the original units, from dark repeats with unique decay characteristics to thick modulation that morphs with the signal—something no other delay type can replicate.
Vintage Stereo Echo Enhanced With Modern Features
Olivera integrates classic tone with modern versatility. Discrete stereo operation processes left and right inputs independently, while features like delay spillover, MIDI control, and USB connectivity make it perfect for stage and studio. With a premium JFET stereo input preamp and rugged construction, Olivera offers exceptional touch sensitivity and road-ready reliability.

- MIDI: Full MIDI implementation with 300 presets via EXP/MIDI jack or USB connection.
- True Buffered Bypass: Choose between relay-switched true bypass or premium buffered bypass to preserve signal integrity.
- JFET Input: Discrete Class A JFET input preamp for superior dynamics, low noise, and flat frequency response.
- Stereo: Full stereo input/output processing with Mono In/Mono Out, Mono In/Stereo Out, and Stereo In/Stereo Out routing options.
- ARM Processor: High-performance, low-power processing for rich emulation and reduced power draw.
Controls
- Time: Adjusts delay time from 200ms to 800ms based on the oil can’s rotation speed.
- Heads Control: Switch between ‘Short’, ‘Long’, or ‘Both’ playback heads for variable echo decay.
- Mix: Balances wet and dry signal (50/50 at approximately 3 o’clock).
- Rate: Controls modulation speed.
- Intensity: Adjusts modulation depth and prominence in the mix.
- Regeneration: Controls the number of repeats fed back into the delay for atmospheric or reverberant effects. Hold the footswitch while turning to adjust repeat tone—noon represents the original reference, with lower settings darker and higher settings brighter.

All orders over $150 will be automatically eligible for FREE Shipping Australia Wide, if you order is under $150 there will be a flat rate of $10.

Online orders are normally processed within 1-3 business days. Once processed, your order should take between 1-8 business days to arrive depending on your location. Please note that your order may take up to 10 business days to arrive from the day you place your order.
If it transpires that the product is out of stock due to a stock discrepancy and/or there will be a delay in shipment, we will contact you within 2 business days of placing your order and give you the option of waiting or cancelling your order. The products we advertise online should show if they are in stock or not. We do our best to keep the website stock count up to date, but there may be an occasional error.

Deliver is made during the hours from 8:00am till 5:30pm Monday to Friday. As such, please ensure you nominate an address which is capable of receiving goods during 8am and 5.30pm. Given the restrictions on PO Box deliveries we cannot deliver larger sized items to a PO Box.
If for any reason our selected carriers don't service your area we will contact you before processing your order if this applys to you.
Returns Policy
If you wish to return an item which is not damaged or faulty in any way and you have simply changed your mind or made the wrong decision, you must let us know within 7 days of receiving the item. We will not agree to refund an item because you simply changed your mind or made the wrong decision if we have not been advised of your intention within 7 days of receiving your item. Once we have provided a return authority, it is the buyer’s responsibility to return the item, at their own costs within 30 days from original purchase. If the item is returned with any damage or alteration to its original packaging, we will refund the item subject to applying a minimum 15% restocking fee. We will not refund the costs of the initial shipping charges.
