Product Information
The Novation FLpad is the ultimate hands-on grid controller for FL Studio, co-developed with Image-Line to make beatmaking faster, more intuitive, and more creative. Featuring 64 velocity-sensitive RGB-backlit pads with polyphonic aftertouch, dedicated FL Studio controls, and seamless Channel Rack integration, FLpad puts everything you need to create beats, play instruments, and build tracks right at your fingertips.
Designed specifically for FL Studio, FLpad lets you trigger samples directly from the Channel Rack, step-sequence up to four instruments simultaneously, and play drums, basslines, chords, and melodies using its expressive 8x8 pad grid. Dedicated layouts for FPC, Slicex, and Fruity Slicer make finger drumming and sample manipulation easy, while Note mode allows you to perform melodic parts chromatically or locked to your chosen scale.
FLpad's powerful sequencing capabilities make it easy to turn ideas into finished tracks. Create melodies, basslines, chord sequences, and drum patterns using the colour-coded grid, then access FL Studio's Graph Editor directly from the controller to adjust velocity, pitch, note repeats, and other parameters without interrupting your creative workflow.
Dedicated transport and navigation controls provide hands-on access to playback, recording, undo and redo, quantisation, and the Score Log. A dedicated Patterns view allows you to create, select, clear, and duplicate Patterns, while Channel Rack Mixer mode transforms the pad grid into a row of faders for convenient mixing control.
FLpad also supports custom control layouts through Novation Components, allowing you to personalise your workflow and create configurations for other compatible software and hardware. Its class-compliant USB-C connectivity makes it easy to connect to a compatible Mac, Windows PC, or iOS device, while USB bus power eliminates the need for an external power supply.
Everything you need to start making music is included, with a six-month trial of FL Studio Producer Edition, bespoke finger-drumming lessons from Melodics, and a collection of premium instruments and effects from GForce, Klevgrand, and UVI. With its compact design, expressive performance capabilities, and deep FL Studio integration, Novation FLpad provides a powerful creative platform for beatmakers, producers, and electronic musicians.
