Product Information

The ESP GB Soyo is a premium four-string electric bass created as part of the ESP x BanG Dream! MyGO!!!!! collaboration. Based on ESP's GB platform, it recreates the custom bass used by MyGO!!!!! bassist Nagasaki Soyo, combining traditional bass styling with high-end Japanese specifications, active electronics, and distinctive MyGO!!!!! detailing.

The 40 mm-thick Alder body is paired with a bolt-on Hard Maple neck featuring ESP's Thin U profile for a comfortable and responsive playing feel. A Hard Maple fingerboard features a compound 240–400 mm radius, providing a more rounded feel towards the lower frets and a flatter surface higher up the neck for comfortable technical playing.

The fingerboard features 21 JESCAR FW47104-NS frets along with Black Acrylic Block position markers. A distinctive MyGO!!!!! logo inlay spans the 11th to 13th fret area, giving the GB Soyo a visual identity directly connected to the instrument seen with Nagasaki Soyo.

Two Seymour Duncan SSB-4 soapbar-style humbuckers provide the core of the GB Soyo's sound. The SSB-4n neck and SSB-4b bridge pickups are paired with ESP's CINNAMON 3-band active EQ, giving players extensive control over the bass's tonal balance and allowing it to move from deep, powerful lows through to articulate and defined modern bass sounds.

The control layout consists of a Master Volume with preamp-through switch, pickup balancer, and 3-band EQ. The preamp-through function provides additional flexibility by allowing the active preamp stage to be bypassed when required.

Premium hardware includes HIPSHOT Ultralite HB6C 1/2 Post tuning machines and a HIPSHOT STYLE "A" Brass bridge. The brass bridge is designed to provide strong vibration transfer, sustain, and a substantial low-end response, while the lightweight Hipshot tuners help provide accurate tuning with reduced weight at the headstock.

Finished in classic 3 Tone Sunburst with chrome hardware, the ESP GB Soyo combines traditional bass aesthetics with the distinctive MyGO!!!!! collaboration details. A certificate, gig bag, pick, and strap are included with the instrument.
