Versatile Power Valve Configuration
The amplifier comes equipped with two distinct power valve types: 2x 6L6 and 2x EL34. With a front-panel switch, you can toggle between these power stages in 50-watt mode or combine all four valves for the full 100-watt experience, offering unmatched versatility in sound.
Revolutionary Power Amplifier “Cut” Selector
For the first time, Blackstar introduces a switchable “Cut” selector. This PAF three-position selector allows you to fine-tune the amplifier's higher, harsher frequencies. This customisation lets you shape the amplifier's overall sound to perfectly match your preferences from an aggressive, extended high-end to a warm, vintage sound.
Advanced Connectivity and Tone Control
The St. James 100 head includes a built-in reactive load and Blackstar’s IR based CabRig technology, providing professional direct tones for both live performances and recording sessions. The amp also features a switchable effects loop (Series or Parallel) and an adjustable +2 - +6 dB Solo boost which is controlled via the included 6-way footswitch.

CabRig simulator technology
Our world-class CabRigTM IR-based DSP speaker simulator reproduces the sound and feel of a mic’d up guitar cab in incredible detail. CabRig’s new advanced algorithm can simulate a speaker cabinet and room with effectively zero latency, no phase mismatch and much more flexibility than an IR snapshot. Deep-dive using the accompanying software to capture the incredible tones via USB / XLR out or headphones.
Pro connectivity
With more musicians recording at home St. James is perfect for the way we play today with USB audio connectivity for pro-recording and an XLR D.I. for professional live use, both using the built-in inductive load and CabRig speaker simulation.
Matching St. James 412 Speaker Cabinet
Designed to deliver class-leading tone and practicality, this new lightweight 4x12” is a step forwards in cabinet design.
The St. James 412 is a leap forward with its unique lightweight design, constructed from candlenut plywood—a material that ensures great tone and exceptional strength and durability, while being remarkably low weight, boasting a 33% reduction compared to the leading competitor’s 4x12” cabinet. This construction allows musicians to experience the power and projection of a 4x12” cabinet without the traditional burden of weight.
To further reduce weight, we collaborated with Celestion to create the ultra-lightweight
Blackstar-exclusive Zephyr speakers. Celestion started with a Vintage 30 and stripped back unnecessary weight, just like Formula 1 race car design, resulting in a lightweight speaker that retains a traditional ferrite magnet.
The perfect companion for St. James heads, these new cabinets are also ideal for anyone looking for a lightweight and more practical solution whilst retaining incredible tone.

Shipping Policy
All orders over $150 will be automatically eligible for FREE Shipping Australia Wide, if you order is under $150 there will be a flat rate of $10.
Belfield Music is well known for its top online customer service. We treat all online customers with the same excellent service we give to our in store customer. We will ensure that you receive all the support you need while your goods are in transit and ensure the goods arrive promptly. All of our shipments have tracking numbers available and we cover every single unit by our own shipping insurance.
Online orders are normally processed within 1-3 business days. Once processed, your order should take between 1-8 business days to arrive depending on your location. Please note that your order may take up to 10 business days to arrive from the day you place your order.
If it transpires that the product is out of stock due to a stock discrepancy and/or there will be a delay in shipment, we will contact you within 2 business days of placing your order and give you the option of waiting or cancelling your order. The products we advertise online should show if they are in stock or not. We do our best to keep the website stock count up to date, but there may be an occasional error.

Deliver is made during the hours from 8:00am till 5:30pm Monday to Friday. As such, please ensure you nominate an address which is capable of receiving goods during 8am and 5.30pm. Given the restrictions on PO Box deliveries we cannot deliver larger sized items to a PO Box.
If for any reason our selected carriers don't service your area we will contact you before processing your order if this applys to you.
Returns Policy
If you wish to return an item which is not damaged or faulty in any way and you have simply changed your mind or made the wrong decision, you must let us know within 7 days of receiving the item. We will not agree to refund an item because you simply changed your mind or made the wrong decision if we have not been advised of your intention within 7 days of receiving your item. Once we have provided a return authority, it is the buyer’s responsibility to return the item, at their own costs within 30 days from original purchase. If the item is returned with any damage or alteration to its original packaging, we will refund the item subject to applying a minimum 15% restocking fee. We will not refund the costs of the initial shipping charges.
