Product Information
The Behringer PARAPEDAL WAH FILTER is a vintage-inspired analogue wah pedal that recreates the distinctive vocal-like guitar tones of classic 1970s rock. Designed to deliver expressive, throaty wah effects with a unique talking character, this pedal combines authentic vintage styling with modern reliability and a compact footprint. Whether producing funky rhythmic textures, expressive lead guitar phrases or dramatic filter sweeps, the PARAPEDAL WAH FILTER brings a legendary sound to contemporary pedalboards.
At the heart of the PARAPEDAL WAH FILTER is an all-analogue circuit featuring two distinct frequency peaks, producing a broad, expressive sweep with a rich vocal character. This distinctive filter response allows guitarists to create sounds reminiscent of a talking voice, with smooth transitions between deep, resonant tones and pronounced upper-frequency emphasis. The integrated foot pedal provides intuitive, real-time control over the filter sweep, making it ideal for expressive playing and dynamic performances.
Built for regular stage and studio use, the PARAPEDAL WAH FILTER features a rugged enclosure with authentic vintage styling and a compact design that fits comfortably into modern pedalboard setups. True bypass switching preserves the instrument's original signal when the effect is disengaged. For convenient operation, the pedal can be powered by a standard 9 V battery or an optional Behringer PSU-SB DC power supply, making it a versatile choice for guitarists seeking classic analogue wah tones without the complexity of vintage equipment.
