At the heart of Kitstream is a built-in stereo microphone system designed to capture the full sound of your acoustic drum kit without requiring multiple microphones, stands, mixers or complicated cabling. An integrated kick drum trigger converts kick drum performance into MIDI trigger information, allowing you to enhance your acoustic sound with electronic drum samples. An automatic calibration wizard quickly adjusts microphone and trigger settings to suit your playing style, helping you achieve consistent results with minimal setup.

Kitstream connects directly to computers and supported mobile devices through USB-C, providing both audio and MIDI connectivity for recording, streaming and music production. Its built-in recording functionality allows up to 50 hours of internal recording storage, with individual recordings lasting up to 60 minutes. This makes it easy to capture rehearsals, performances and musical ideas without relying on a separate recording system. Bluetooth audio playback also lets you play along with favourite songs and backing tracks while monitoring your performance.

Beyond acoustic drum recording, Kitstream offers extensive hybrid drumming capabilities. Its built-in sound engine features 500 drum and percussion sounds, 50 preset kits and 100 internal user kits, allowing drummers to expand their acoustic setup with electronic sounds. Integrated effects processing includes 13 reverbs, 26 effects, compression and EQ for shaping and enhancing your drum sound. Four easy-access control knobs provide convenient hands-on adjustment of acoustic audio, trigger levels, reverb and effects.

For expanded setups, Kitstream supports up to six external trigger pads through three 6.35 mm TRS trigger inputs. An additional 6.35 mm TRS microphone input allows you to incorporate another dynamic microphone for kick drum, snare, overhead or vocal applications. User sample import supports up to 99 WAV samples at 44.1 kHz and 16-bit resolution, providing additional creative possibilities for personalised hybrid drum configurations.

Flexible audio connections make Kitstream suitable for recording, personal monitoring and live performance. Dual 6.35 mm TRS main outputs provide connections to external audio equipment, while dedicated 6.35 mm and 3.5 mm stereo headphone outputs offer convenient monitoring options.
