- V-Mod split coil pickups allows a different alloy on the bass and treble side - Alnico 5 on the treble, and Alnico 2 on the bass, to better balance clarity with depth
- ’63 P-Bass neck profile, the industry standard in bass guitar necks, with satin-finish smooth maple neck
- the new ‘Posiflex’ graphite support rods embedded in the neck, which are supposed to make huge improvements with neck tension and intonation, especially with changes in weather and humidity
