Product Information:
The new L200ATV was designed and
developed with the fingerstyle player in mind with its wider nut
width while offering a balanced sound with its concert-size body
shape. Emphasizing sound quality above all else, the guitars
features Torrefied Solid Sitka Spruce top, Pau Ferro back and sides,
Ebony fingerboard and bridge, and genuine bone nut with a semi-gloss
finish.
VINTAGE OM BODY
The L200ATV features a classic OM body style. This body style
initially developed in the 1920’s captures the pre-war era tone that
is often sought after. Sonically it delivers a sound that is larger
than its compact size would hint at and with a level of dynamic
responsiveness that is a joy to play.
AGED TO VINTAGE TOP
A vintage instrument is the holy grail of acoustic guitar tone. The
wood on the top cures and opens up more over time. This unleashes a
tonal quality that is missing in new instruments — until now. Using
a special process that we call ATV (Aged To Vintage) we treat the
solid sitka spruce top to give it that big and open tone of a
decades-old, highly-sought-after acoustic. This torrefaction process
delivers that amazing tone to you right out of the box.
PAU FERRO BACK & SIDES
Pau Ferro, also known as Morado, Santos Rosewood or Bolivian
Rosewood boasts many of the qualities that are highly regarded in
tonewood that is close to Indian Rosewood. It's stable, abrasion
resistant, hard, attractive, exotic and has good impression strength
parallel to the grain.
SEMI GLOSS FINISH
The L200ATV’s semi-gloss finish exhibits the best qualities of both
gloss and satin finishes, providing a luxurious look that also feels
smooth to the touch.
GROVER® VINTAGE TUNERS
Vintage-style look and tuning stability complement the overall
classic look of this model. With an 18:1 tuning ratio, these tuners
ensure precise tuning adjustments with smoothness and the highest
quality functionality.
EBONY BRIDGE & BRIDGEPINS
The high density of Ebony wood keeps the fundamental acoustic sound
focused and tight with greater sonic projection than plastic,
enhancing the transfer of the string vibrations throughout the
soundboard top, body and the neck.
45MM(1 3/4") NUT WIDTH
A slightly wider nut width that makes it easier for fingerstyle
playing.
EBONY FINGERBOARD
There are many types of woods that are used for fingerboard but no
other compares to the jet-black beauty and slick smoothness of
Ebony.
