Connect via USB and explore additional set-up features and Auto Level Mode within our ShurePlus™ MOTIV app, to control your vocal tone, and distance from the microphone. With Auto Level Mode, you can let the microphone do the work for you.
Software & Firmware
Access additional features and controls on your MV7 or MV88+ with the free ShurePlus MOTIV™ App for desktop. Adjust mic gain, monitor mix, EQ, limiter, compressor and more. MV7 users have the additional option of enabling Auto Level Mode; a ‘set it and forget it’ application for consistent recordings every time.
Specifications
XLR and USB Hybrid Microphone
Choose to connect your MV7 by XLR or USB, depending on your set up. When connecting via USB, you have access to the ShurePlus™ MOTIV app, which has a variety of additional controls such as Mic Gain, Mic Mute, EQ, Monitor Mix, Limiter and Compressor that can be adjusted. Alternatively, connect your MV7 via XLR to an audio interface if you are working with a professional recording set-up.
Voice Isolation Technology
The MV7’s impressive combination of cartridge, pick-up pattern and shock mount brings your voice to the forefront of the recording and prevents any unwanted background or room noise from interrupting your sound.
App control from integration with ShurePlus™ MOTIV apps (desktop and mobile)
Download the free ShurePlus™ MOTIV app(s) and configure the microphone to perform best for your chosen application. Select Auto Level Mode if you want a ‘set it and forget it’ microphone, or Manual Mode if you wish to get more hands on with features such as Mic Gain, Mic Mute, EQ, Monitor Mix, Limiter and Compressor. You can even save your favourite presets for another day.
Auto Level Mode
Users that connect via USB will have access to Auto Level Mode, offering them adjustments between Tone and Mic Position. Once enabled, this mode will allow the microphone to constantly adjust your level on the fly to ensure a consistent output of your recording or stream. Save valuable editing time in post-production and keep your level consistent throughout; it’s like having a virtual engineer by your side.
Built-in touch panel
If you’re on the go or want a slight adjustment just before you’re set to record, the on-board touch panel allows you to quickly slide and adjust microphone gain, headphone volume, monitor mix as well as muting the microphone, locking the touch panel and even exiting Auto Level Mode to revert to Manual Mode.
Built-in Headphone Monitoring
Ensure that you are getting perfect audio at all times with the direct headphone monitoring output. Simply connect your favoured headphones or earphones via the 3.5mm connector and set your desired monitor mix between microphone and device.
Customisable Sound Signature
Choose your sound and pick your tone from either ‘dark’, ‘natural’ or ‘bright’ within the ShurePlus™ MOTIV app.
Optimised Mic Position Presets
Whether you’re a podcaster that likes to get up close and personal with the microphone, or a streamer that likes a bit more breathing space, there is a setting to suit your needs. Choose between ‘near’ and ‘far’ mode within the ShurePlus™ MOTIV app, to optimise the MV7’s output depending on your preferred mic position.

All orders over $100 will be automatically eligible for FREE Shipping Australia Wide, if you order is under $100 there will be a flat rate of $10.
Belfield Music is well known for its top online customer service. We treat all online customers with the same excellent service we give to our in store customer. We will ensure that you receive all the support you need while your goods are in transit and ensure the goods arrive promptly. All of our shipments have tracking numbers available and we cover every single unit by our own shipping insurance.
Online orders are normally processed within 1-3 business days. Once processed, your order should take between 1-8 business days to arrive depending on your location. Please note that your order may take up to 10 business days to arrive from the day you place your order.
If it transpires that the product is out of stock due to a stock discrepancy and/or there will be a delay in shipment, we will contact you within 2 business days of placing your order and give you the option of waiting or cancelling your order. The products we advertise online should show if they are in stock or not. We do our best to keep the website stock count up to date, but there may be an occasional error.

Deliver is made during the hours from 8:00am till 5:30pm Monday to Friday. As such, please ensure you nominate an address which is capable of receiving goods during 8am and 5.30pm. Given the restrictions on PO Box deliveries we cannot deliver larger sized items to a PO Box.
If for any reason our selected carriers don't service your area we will contact you before processing your order if this applys to you.
Returns Policy
If you wish to return an item which is not damaged or faulty in any way and you have simply changed your mind or made the wrong decision, you must let us know within 7 days of receiving the item. We will not agree to refund an item because you simply changed your mind or made the wrong decision if we have not been advised of your intention within 7 days of receiving your item. Once we have provided a return authority, it is the buyer’s responsibility to return the item, at their own costs within 30 days from original purchase. If the item is returned with any damage or alteration to its original packaging, we will refund the item subject to applying a minimum 15% restocking fee. We will not refund the costs of the initial shipping charges.
